AI Monday RECAP

AI Monday – Munich – 21/10/2019

AI Monday, Oct 21, 2019

This was the first AI Monday in Munich! Thanks to our partner Wayra who hosted the event in their excellent premises and also sponsored the drinks for the networking session.Sven Rossmann from Porsche Consulting kicked off the evening with a deep dive into the business value of AI for production companies by showcasing project experiences across sectors and areas of application. He also addressed the transformational character of AI and what companies need to do to become AI-driven organisations.Max Haarich had some emergency and could very sadly not make it – looking forward to see him next time around.Zinonas Zinonos from Ventum Consulting, worked many years at the famous particle research center CERN. Based on his experience to be forced to use AI in order to even handle the sheer amount of data, he gave a glimpse of AI in fundamental research and how this can be applied to real-life business problems, e.g. with invoice or claims handling. Finally we had our own Michael Hanf, CEO of Taival, jumping in and filling the final slot. He provided his perspective on identifying innovative AI startups using the Taival “Lean AI Technology Exploration Framework” which we developed and executed for a client. The evening closed late after good talks, pizza and drinks. A great start for Munich. Looking forward to the next one!
